BLESSED BE THE FOUNTAIN

Image
BLESSED BE THE FOUNTAIN        1942  We moved in a trailer to Watertown, MA - outside of Boston MA. Here I am at 9 almost 10.   We moved just before Christmas, with the Christmas Tree already up, and I remember how hard it was when we were traveling INSIDE the trailer, to go to our new place.             Dad was working on Construction, which meant moving a lot. Mother did well in teaching me, but I had lots of questions.   My little brother would be 6 in November.   We spent a lot of time together.             Skip and I played a lot together, and because we moved so much, he would find in me his support and help.   There was a River there.   There was a river there.   Our trailer was parked on a vacant lot, we had no utilities, and it was not directly in the city.   Skip (Harry) and I would scramble up the hill back of our tr...

JESUS CHRIST, THE SAME YESTERDAY TODAY AND FOREVER. Hebrews 13.8

Image
JESUS CHRIST - THE SAME YESTERDAY TODAY AND FOREVER   Hebrews 13.8            My decision to produce a BLOG that promotes the knowledge of life and Salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ is from the conviction that He is coming to take the Church home to His Father's House soon - and that when He does that, there will be Seven years of "Jacob's Trouble" or what is called the "Tribulation"... There will be hard times in which you will need to know what God's Word says about it.             The Gospel never changes.   From cover to cover, the Bible speaks and tells us what God did in times past, and is doing now.   From cover to cover, the Bible is the ONLY source that truly is able to give us light in this dark world.           THERE IS ONLY A SHORT TIME  AFTER HE TAKES THE BRIDE - THE CHURCH TO HIMSELF -  THERE WILL BE SEVEN YEARS OF DEEP TROUBLE IT IS CALLED...

BY FAITH, I WALK ON

Image
WALKING ON         Walking by homes and yards, I see the for-get-me-nots in the yards of some. When I lived in another place, I had a large lawn, in which I took these little plants  and put them into the grass to naturalize as part of the lawn.  Every Spring they would come up as lively little bright smiles of hope for the future.                 It has been a year since I last posted.    My revision hip surgery was successful.    The prognosis was that I would possibly be in the Nursing Home for 12 weeks.   I was in the Nursing Home for five weeks.    It amazes me that I am able to do what I can do.   With my walker, I am able to do many long distance things, such as going for a 40 minute walk - sitting and having coffee and soup in a little cafe, and then returning home to my place for another 40 minutes. And so, I am calling my walker CALEB.   ...

WE WALK BY FAITH, NOT BY SIGHT

WE WALK BY FAITH, NOT BY SIGHT II Corinthians 5.7 CHRISTMAS EVE REFLECTIONS                We are on the threshold of Christmas Eve, and the excitement rules in this household.                 I have not been on this Blog of mine since the beginning of this year.   So I have much to   Cherish and Hold in my life to you bloggers.     I am so blessed beyond measure.   This year, on March 18th I had a Revision Hip Surgery, and by faith I put my trust all would be well.   Yes, it is now time to say that I am happily walking without pain in my hip bone, and the muscles now are giving me hope that this year I will be on my way to walking again, perhaps even with...

BIBLE LADY JUNEBUG CONTINUING ON MY JOURNEY

Image
CONTINUING ON MY JOURNEY          With all my heart, I am filled with gratefulness in my life and give thanks to the LORD God of Hosts, as He has faithfully led me and nurtured me on my Pilgrim Journey.    This photo shows the ocean beyond the trees.         There is much for me to do and be just yet.   I believe God wants me to share on my blogs, and that He has prepared the way for that.  With a left hip revision surgery,  tomorrow,  I am believing that when all is accomplished, I will find that I will be recuperating for several weeks.    Hopefully I will be able to do my blogs while I recuperate.       Since my dear Pastor husband died, I have found much solace in the Word of God, my hus...
