BEGINNING ANEW - PROVIDING A LEGACY

BY FAITH I WALK CLIMBING HIGHER BY HIS STRENGTH

Roses always give the fragrance as well as beauty.

I wish to give the fragrance of God's grace in my life to you, even as the Joseph's Coat rose gives varied colors in each flower, as each post is made, I would like to give you something of what I have learned and am learning.  May you find that indeed, just as Jesus told the disciples in the book of Luke, chapter 24, verses 44 - 49 that "These are the words which I spake unto you while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.   Then, opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scripture.  And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.  And ye are witnesses of these things.  And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you, but tarry in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high."
v.50   He led them out as far as Bethany, and he lifted up his hand, and blessed them. 51. And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven."

You may not know my Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.  I pray that this blog will help you to find Him who loved us and who loves us R I G H T   N O W  and is waiting to show you that you must first know that "all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3.23)  The only reason Jesus came into this world as a little Baby in the manger was to bring Light and Life into this world by becoming our sacrifice for sin once and for all.   His death on the cross was necessary and essential that you and I might have the opportunity to say "I am a sinner.   I sin because I am a sinner.  I need you to forgive me and wash me clean."   John 1.11,12 tells us "as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name, which were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God."
It was John who, in the spirit of Elijah, came to prepare the way for the Lord Jesus, by calling Israel to repentance.   It was John who said, "Behold the Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world."   Again, John said,  "The law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.  No man hath seen God at any time: the only begotten Son which is in the bosom of the Father, He hath declared him."  (John 1.17 - 18).
Today we have the completed Word of God - the Old and the New Testaments of Scripture to give us the record of all God has for us to know.    The Apostles were told that they were to be witnesses of  Jesus birth, death, and resurrection that in the light of the Torah and the Scriptures of the Law, the Prophets and the Psalms, others would find Christ to be their Passover Lamb, who covers our sin, and gives us His Righteousness that we may at any time approach the Living God as our Father.

Ask Him today to wash your sin away.
Thank Him for dying for your sin, and for being your Passover Lamb.
When you ask Him to wash your sin away, and forgive you,
His dear Spirit will come into your life - into your innermost being - and He will never ever leave you nor forsake you.

When you ask Him to be your Savior, you will have Eternal Life beginning right now.     If He comes before we die, we shall be caught up to Him, but if we die before He comes, we instantly will be with the Lord.    Our bodies will be resurrected and made incorruptible when He comes as the Bridegroom to claim the Bride - the Church.    The Church is made up of all Believers, in whom the Holy Spirit lives.     The Father will one day say, "It is ready, go and get your Bride"  and so we will ever be with the Lord.

As God gives you new life, find Him by eating and drinking of His Words -   John 15.7  tells us  "If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you."
Enjoy your new relationship with God.    He is going to give you much joy in your walk with Him.
